Life Coach

Life Coaching Tropes

Call me petty. Call me mean. Call me unhealed.

Call me anything you want.

You’re wrong, but that’s not an unfamiliar position for you.

You’re wrong a lot and you REALLY got it wrong this time. Not me. You. You got you wrong.

You’re a life coach – and you’re failing.

Don’t panic. It happens.

It happens to people when the world catches up to them and realizes that all they have is (quite lame) marketing and (even lamer) promises that you know something that your audience (targets, stooges) doesn’t.

Truth is – you don’t have anything special. The world sees it – and you know it.

That’s why your business is failing. The world is passing by the people who have nothing real to offer.

Words aren’t enough anymore.

How’s that for clarity?

You built your “empire” on a bit of mommy and daddy’s money and being just ahead of the internet marketing boom to make a buck or two.

Thing is – you forgot to advance yourself in any substantive way.

Maybe developing a real skill besides posting on Instagram?

Something more than running your mouth on videos nobody watches?

Yeah… couldn’t do that. Wouldn’t do that.

You’re better than that, right? You’re called. You’re chosen. You know…

More.

Wrong. Again. As usual.

But you’ll keep talking as you twist yourself into smaller and smaller holes in the ground.

The world has moved on. ChatGPT has outstripped your value – and can do more for $20 a month.

Your lack of ability to create (and I don’t mean design or art or even writing) anything of value has come back to bite you in the ass.

The world is looking for more value – and you’re providing less and less.

It’s showing. You’re panicked. You should be. Your entire shtick is gone. Dead.

Talking only gets you so far – and you’re not talking your way out of the hole your “career” has put you in.

Hope your inheritance will be enough to sustain you while you work your way up the spiritual hierarchy of the Home Depot plumbing department – because that’s where you’ll be.

While we all wait for that day, do yourself a favor: Brush up on pipe fittings and the proper use of Teflon tape. You’re going to need this info.
